Indications:
Prevention of invasive fungal infections during allogeneic bone marrow transplantation in patients with a high risk of such a complication.
Voriconazole should be used in adults and children to treat:
- invasive aspergillosis;
- Candidemia, not accompanied by neutropenia;
- Severe invasive infections caused by Candida (including C. krusei) resistant to fluconazole;
- Severe fungal infections caused by Scedosporium and Fusarium species.

For patients with progressive and life-threatening infections, Vfend should be used as initial therapy.
